They knew that support could be - indeed, needed to be - more than just a service. Ever since Empowerment Living was founded, our directors have instilled in our team an obligation and a duty to provide support to participants that goes beyond assistance with daily tasks, that supports each participant to live and create a fulfilling, dignified and happy life in which they realise their full potential. Our team knew that this was no small order. But thanks to our company philosophy and our founder’s long years of experience, we knew from Day One that the best - the only - way to achieve this was through support that was altruistic, authentic, collaborative and provided with a sense of dignity and respect at every step. |  |

One that we hope they can look back on fondly as a meaningful step on their path to independence, self-determination and a life of happiness and fulfilment. Self-determination is at the heart of what we strive to do each and every day. It’s why establishing trust and meaningful relationships between our staff and participants is of paramount importance to our entire endeavour at Empowerment Living. With a solid foundation of trust, our founders knew that the effects of our support could reach far into the future of our participants, guided by their own wishes, goals and aspirations, to help them achieve a happiness fulfilment of their own choosing. Of course, establishing a timeline is the furthest thing from the minds of our staff. For us at Empowerment Living, we are always steadily working towards the brightest future for each individual, regardless of the time spent. For us, this fact alone means that we couldn’t ask for a more meaningful career and it’s an opportunity that we don’t take for granted. |
